All five tracked mainland indices opened in the red, but the decline was uneven. Growth and tech-heavy boards (ChiNext, STAR 50) fell more than twice as fast as the large-cap Shanghai Composite, pointing to sharper selling in growth-sensitive shares than in blue chips.
