Kalshi has filed for a license with the CFTC to launch perpetual futures contracts for precious metals after receiving approval for crypto-linked contracts.

If approved, perpetual futures contracts for precious metals (including platinum) will open additional trading channels and pricing opportunities for this asset class, similarly to how crypto contracts have expanded within the regulated ecosystem.
