Can I be reminded before a specific event?
Yes. On a calendar event, arm a reminder and choose how many minutes ahead (5 to 1440, default 30). It fires once, shortly before the event, into your alert inbox with a link to the event page. Arming the same event twice just keeps the one reminder.
